Wonderfestiwall is an annual festival taking place on the northernmost part of the Danish island Bornholm. The festival has taken place every summer since 2008, except for a two year hiatus in the most critical COVID-19 period. In its relatively short lifespan Wonderfestiwall has managed to grow into one of Denmark's most renowned festivals, attracting thousands of guests to the beautiful and scenic island every year, as well as some of the biggest Danish and international artists to headline the festival.
The organization behind the charismatic festival approached us with a desire to spice up their digital presence, with an emphasis on freshening up their current website, which was limiting their means to showcase the unique characteristics and atmosphere of the “sunshine island” festival.
We chose to go along with the playful and adventurous atmosphere and identity of the festival, while seeking inspiration in the unique characteristics and scenery of the beautiful island Bornholm, where the festival is rooted and takes place. The website was completely redesigned and rebuilt in Webflow, to allow for the much needed visual expression and subsequent ease of page management for the organization.
